Here is a list of some of the most famous and beautiful streets in Czech Republic.

  • Nerudova Street. This is a historic picturesque street connecting Charles Bridge and Prague Castle and leading from the Lesser Town towards the Prague Castle. There are ancient burgher buildings along the street which now house little hotels, restaurants and embassies. The street boasts a great collection of signs on houses. House numbering is relatively recent innovation in Prague and was first introduced in 1770.

  • Havelska Street. The 250 m long street is located at the Ovocny Market and dates back to the 13th Located in the former New Market on the site of which in 1362 there appeared many little shops. The street’s name is derived from the St. Havel Church. Nowadays there is the city center’s permanent market which is open daily and attracts tourists as well as locals.

  • New World Street. This is a charming place that attracts many artists and romantic people. It is a small lane hidden in the vicinity of Prague Castle. This narrow street with small houses starts at the base of a mammoth fortification wall and runs to the green Stag Moat of the castle and creates a romantic atmosphere in any season of the year.

  • Stodolni Street. It is located in Ostrava city which is famous for its technical monuments. Stodolni is a legendary street that is packed full of pubs and clubs. The street is very lively and you won’t be bored here. It is said that Stodolni Street never sleeps and it is absolutely true.
